ROUTINE CARE

Make sure all components are kept clean and free from staining, algae etc.
Cleaning should be carried out using a soft damp cloth.

When the weather station is to be left on location for long periods, the

stand, case and other external metal parts may be wiped with mild detergent,
and possibly a small quantity of disinfectant, to discourage algae growth.

Solvents or other cleaning products must not be used on the

environmental enclosure.

When dismantling the system after use, if the components are wet,

make sure they are dried before transporting them. If this is not possible, dry
them on return to the laboratory or office.

Check all sensors for debris, leaves, etc. and remove any wind blown

debris. Clear out the rain gauge funnel regularly.
