Setup and Operation
This section describes how to set up the Zilog Educational Platform and operate it in Serial
Mode. Before proceeding, it is important that you observe standard antistatic precautions
when removing the contents of the Kit from the box it is contained in. Do not apply power
to the Zilog Educational Platform until you have established all hardware connections.
When unpacking and working with the Zilog Educational Platform and its application
shields, always use a grounding strap to prevent damage resulting from electrostatic dis-
charge (ESD).
Setup
Observe the following procedure to establish the Platform’s hardware connections in
Serial Mode.
