A password is required to make any changes to the printer settings or product
screens. To change the Manager Password:
1. Press .
2. Enter the Manager Password and press Enter. The default password is 1234. The
Configure screen appears.
3. Press System Settings.
4. Press Change Password.
5. Enter the new password. As you enter the new password, it appears on the
screen.
6. Press Enter. You return to the Configure screen.
Note: If you forget the Manager Password, enter password 1234 . The configure
screen appears. Follow the instructions in this section to reset the password.
If password
1234 does not work, call Service.
7. Press Return until you see the product menu.
