10- Troubleshooting

The motor does not function

Check that:

• The USB cable and power cable are plugged in correctly. The buttons should illuminate briefly while plugging in the

power source. If it doesnt happen, try another power source.

• If the breast pump is on, push the button (1)

Appendix I.

• If you are using battery power check that the batteries have been fitted correctly or have not run down (a red light

shows continuously for 20 seconds).

There is no suction or the suction is too

weak.

• Ensure that the sheild (I + J) is sealed on the breast perfectly and all parts of the breast pump have been assembled

correctly. The transparent diaphragm (E) is in position between the cover (B) and the bottle ring (C+D). See

Annexe III.

• Check that the tube (H) is connected to the shield (I+J), the bottle ring (C) and the white o-ring (D) has been placed

on the bottle ring (B).

• The lid (B) and the bottle ring (C) should be firmly assembled and check that there is no sign of wear or damage.

• Re-start the appliance then press the lid (B). You are in the sittinf position.

The device loses power while running on

batteries.

Check that:

• Whether the red light is flashing as you express your milk. This indicates that you will need to replace the batteries or

recharge them before using the device again. Always keep new or recharged batteries near you.

Breast pain when expressing milk.

• Use a lower level of suction. If the pain persists, speak to a breastfeeding adviser.

• Try different positions for shield (I + J).

• You can use a Bébé Confort plastic nipple to decrease the pressure on the nipple.

Little or no milk is produced.

• Position the breast pump lower than your breast.

• Depending on the breast, the nipple could block the milk evacuation in the shield: if it happens, pause for several

minutes before recommencing.

• Follow the instructions for use, speak to a breastfeeding advisor if the problem persists.

Take care not to squash or kink the tube.

NB: A replacement parts kit (T) is supplied with the breast pump. The kit includes: a one-way valve (F) and two O-rings (D). We recommend

you replace the flexible internal shield, the tube and the nozzle as soon as you see any signs of wear (cracking, tears, etc.). Replacements are

available from your retailer. You should replace the tube after 6 weeks of use.
