8. Taking measurements

Place the scale on a firm level floor (no carpet); a firm floor covering is required for correct measure-

ment.
Only weight measurement
audibly, briefly and firmly tap the scale with your foot to activate the vibration

sensor.

8888” (Fig. 1) will appear on the display as a self test until “0.0 kg” is displayed (Fig. 2).

Now the scale is ready to measure your weight. Now step onto the scale. Stand still

on the scale with your weight distributed evenly between both legs. The scale imme-

diately begins to measure your weight.
Weighing, carrying out diagnostics
• Switch on your scale and wait until “

0.0 kg” appears (Fig. 2).

• Select the memory space where your personal data are stored by repeatedly pres-

sing the

keys. These are then displayed in sequence until “

0.0 kg” appears.

• Step onto the scale with bare feet and ensure that you are standing still with equal weight distribution

and with both legs on the ITO electrodes.

note: Your feet, legs, calves and thighs must not touch each other.

Otherwise the measurement cannot be performed correctly.The scale immediately begins to measure

your weight.

The scales begin weighing immediately. First, the weight is displayed.

Whilst the further parameters are being measured an “

” appears (Fig. 3).

Your measured weight is displayed shortly after this.
The following appears:
1. Weight in kg

2. Body fat in % with interpretation of BF

3. Body water in %

4. Muscle percentage in %

5. Bone mass in kg

6. Basal metabolic rate in kcal

7. Active metabolic rate in kcal
switching off the scale
The scale automatically switches off after approx. 10 seconds.

9. evaluation of results

Body fat percentage
Body fat is evaluated and displayed by a bar below the body fat display.

The following body fat percentages are guide values (contact your physician for further information).
