About discs containing DivX ® format files
CD and DVD discs containing digital images recorded in DivX ®
format can be played.
DivX ® :
A digital video compression technology with DivX ® video coding by
DivX Networks Inc.
Load a disc containing files in DivX ® format.
Use [D D H H F F G G] to select the folder you want to play,
then press [ENTER] .

Use [D D H H F F G G] to select the file you want to play, then
press [ENTER] or 1 .
• Playback starts.

¢ To change the file to be played:
In the stop or resume mode, use [D D H H F F G G] to select the file again.
¢ Playing in random order:
In the stop mode, press [RANDOM], then press 1 .
¢ To change the folder to be played:
In the stop or resume mode, press [RETURN], and select the folder
again.
¢ Playing in repeat order:
Press [REPEAT].
¢ Switching the time display:
Press [DISPLAY] during playback.
• The DVD-2930CI can play [discs containing] up to 255 folders and
1000 files.
• Note that depending on the software used for burning and other
conditions, some files may not play or display correctly.
• The DVD-2930CI is compatible with DivX ® audio sampling
frequencies (fs) of 8 to 48 kHz.
• The DVD-2930CI is not compatible with motion compensation
technology (GMC) or PCM Audio.
Playing a disc containing files in JPEG format
Load a disc containing still picture files in JPEG
format.
Use [D D H H F F G G] to select the folder you want to play,
then press [ENTER] .

About discs containing still picture files
Use this procedure to play JPEG format files recorded on CD-R/CD-
RW discs or Picture CDs or Fujicolor CDs as slideshows.
Use [D D H H F F G G] to select the file you want to play, then
press 1 .
• Playback starts.
