Configuration
This configuration is a typical example where turboIP-45s are used to maximize the TCP throughput in
a Point-to-Point system. Note the turboIP-45s are placed so that all TCP traffic between the Remote and
the hub must pass through the turboIP-45. The following table defines the configuration settings for
each turboIP-45.
Configuration Parameter
Hub turboIP-45
Remote turboIP-45
WAN Transmission Rate
45 Mbps (equal to the TX data
rate of Hub modem)
2048 kbps (equal to the TX data
rate of Remote modem)
Congestion Control
Rate Pacing
Rate Pacing
Selective Acceleration
No Selective Acceleration Rules are required. Rules could be added
to prioritize or set BW limits on any type of traffic.
Route Table
No Route Table entries are required. Routes could be added to allow
remote access from outside of LAN subnet.
