connected to the IOH

• One x4 PCIe Gen2 slot(slot 2, x8 connector with x4 routing) for dedicated storage controller card, and

connected to the IOH

• System supports 25W maximum power for the slot 1 and 15W for slot 2
• The lower power support on slot 2 is due to system thermal limitations instead of system power

requirements

• The PowerEdge R510 does not support hot-swapping of PCIe cards
