ROD RIGGING
Insert two cotter pins and spread.
Clean excess Loctite from terminal
body using special care to ensure
that there is no red Loctite on
threaded stud.
Assembly Rod Adapter Stud
22 MKIV units 3, 4
Apply a few drops of
red Loctite ® adhesive
to threads of nosepiece.
Screw main threaded stud portion
onto bronze nosepiece until flats
align with two cotter pin holes in
terminal body.
Tip: Turn nosepiece completely into
threaded stud portion. Flats will be
close and may only require a small
half turn to align with cotter pin
holes.
