ODIFICATION

If information about the account needs to be modified in any way, click on the “More” button. All account contents
may be modified from this screen.

2.3.1.Serial Numbers

The “Serial Numbers” field is a comma-separated list of Telepresenter serial numbers. Only units listed will be
privileged to sign into this account.

If the N-Way Server is being run as a service, this allows the service provider to charge for each additional
Telepresenter added to the account.

It also is a method for verifying that a Telepresenter is a valid member of a given account, even if the
Telepresenter forwards the correct account name and password.

2.3.2.Multicast Addresses

This is a comma-separated list of multicast addresses or multicast address ranges to be used by the account. If a
Telepresenter attempts to use a multicast address not in this list the traffic will not be forwarded. Use of the entry
keyword “all” will allow all multicast addresses to be used.

Since the N-Way service may be used by any number of commercial businesses or organizations, it is important
to keep the addresses in use unique to each account. If there is overlap, parties from one organization will be
able to eavesdrop on the conversations and media streams of another organization.

If the address ranges for two organizations overlap, then those two accounts will be able to communicate with
each other on the overlapping addresses.
