Apple products that can be used with
this unit
This unit can be connected to and used with the following Apple products.
iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPad Retina (4th generation), iPad Air,
iPad mini, iPad mini Retina, iPod touch (5th generation)
o Always use the USB cable that was included with the iPod, iPhone or iPad
to connect it to this unit's standard USB port. Operation cannot be guaran-
teed when using a non-genuine cable.
Playback application software
Windows and Mac versions
Our TEAC HR Audio Player application (Windows and Mac versions available)
supports playback of high-resolution audio files. You can download it from
the TEAC Global Site.

iOS app
You can use the free TEAC HR Audio Player for iOS app, which supports
high-resolution audio playback.
Android app
You can use the free TEAC HR Audio Player for Android* app, which supports
high-resolution audio playback.
*This app is scheduled to be released in 2015.
Supported operating systems
Computers running the following operating systems can be connected by
USB to this unit.
Microsoft Windows
Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1
o To use a Windows computer for playback, you must install the dedicated
driver on the computer beforehand.
Download the dedicated driver from the TEAC Global Site:

Important notice
Always install the dedicated driver software on the Windows computer
before connecting the unit to it using a USB cable. If you connect this unit
to a Windows computer that does not already have the driver installed on
it, proper operation will not be possible. Furthermore, be aware that it might
also become impossible to install the driver normally if they are connected
before installation.
Mac OS X
OS X Lion 10.7
OS X Mountain Lion 10.8
OS X Mavericks 10.9
o This unit can be operated with the standard OS driver, so there is no need
to install a driver.
Use with operating systems other than the above is not guaranteed.
