Use of Clustering Feature
to Provide SSCP to SSCP
Connection: When CPUs
are located in physically
different locations, two FEP-
4600 platforms can be used
to provide a channel-to-
channel connection between
them for SNA PU4 traffic
using the Clustering feature.
Connectivity between the
two sites uses encrypted IP.
The two sites can be on the
same or different SNA
networks and can be VTAM
and/or TPF.
This feature is no longer offered for new installations.
