Step 2: Install the Straight Tube
1. Using the drill template (included in the straight tube package) or the straight tube itself, mark
the screw holes on the ceiling and drill the holes (as needed).
NOTE: Mounting screws and plastic plugs are not included and must be purchased
separately. Purchase screws applicable to the surface where the straight tube is to be
installed.
2. If using a straight tube without bracket, drill the cable hole on the ceiling and route the
cable to pass through the hole. Otherwise, skip this step.
3. Insert the network cable to pass through the straight tube.

4. Install the straight tube on the ceiling.

NOTE:

If the straight tube is not long enough, you may use one or more extension tubes (purchased
separately). See How to Install Extension Tubes on page 21 for more information.

Mounting screws are not included and must be purchased separately. Purchase screws
applicable to the surface material where the straight tube is to be installed and could bear the
weight of the mounting accessories with camera.
