FOREWORD AND USE OF THIS GUIDE

This manual provides instructions to assemble, connect and set the
Niagara ecological Mixer (Code 5033301).

HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE

Installation section is reserved to qualified technicians. For this rea-
son it uses proper technical terms and does not include descriptions
needed by final users.

THE DEVICE SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED BY AUTHORI-

ZED AND QUALIFIED ENGINEERS.
ARAG IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY USE OF THIS GUIDE
BY EITHER NON-AUTHORIZED OR NON-QUALIFIED PER-
SONNEL.

• LIABILITY

The installation engineer must perform all required installation ope-
rations according to the rules of the trade and ensure trouble-free
operation of the whole system to the final user, be it equipped
with ARAG parts only or foreign parts.

RISKS AND PROTECTIONS BEFORE DEVICE INSTALLATION

ONLY use clean water for tests or spraying simulations: the
use of chemicals for spraying simulations can seriously
damage objects and cause injuries to people nearby.

INTENDED USE

This Mixer allows chemical mixing during spraying if connected to the
hydraulic system of a farm machine.
The machine is designed and built in compliance with
2006/42/EC and 2009/127/EC Directives.

4 INSTALLATION

4.1

Positioning the Mixer onto the farm machine

The Mixer has been designed to be installed onto a farm machine frame

through its holed flange (Fig. 3).

4.2

Connecting the Mixer to the hydraulic system

IMPORTANT!

Do not apply pressures above 8 bars to the mixer (see tables

2a ÷ 2c, Page 7).

Connect the pump using the fittings supplied with the Mixer. Different
fittings should be ordered separately.

Install the Mixer in a user
friendly position which is
practical enough when the
chemical product is added.
Pay special attention to the
following:
1) The cover should open
without any problems and
should not be in contact with
any machine parts;
2) The controls of the valves
next to the Mixer and the
main valve under the Mixer
should not be covered by
any machine parts;
3) The Mixer should be at
a practical height for the
operator.
