1.2.4. Telephone Upgrade
This webpage is used to identify and download new versions of software for the
Berkshire 5000 telephones.
To download latest software version:
• Click the “Load” button
• You will be prompted to confirm that you wish to overwrite the currently
loaded version
• Click “OK” to continue
• The ipPBX will download the necessary files over the internet from the ATL
upgrade server
• Confirmation that the latest version has been loaded successfully is displayed
The ipPBX now contains the latest telephone software. A user can upgrade his
Berkshire 5000 telephone to the latest version at a convenient time when he is not
needing to make or receive calls. To upgrade the phone press the “MENU” button
and scroll down the list on the LCD to the item “Upgrade Now”. Press “OK” to check
whether the phone needs upgrading and “OK” again to perform the upgrade.
