Chassis views
The H3C S12500-X Switch Series includes the following models:
• S12510-X AC.
• S12510-X DC.
• S12516-X AC.
• S12516-X DC.
An S12500-X switch chassis has an LPU section, power module section, fan tray section, switching fabric
module section, and MPU section. This document uses an S12510-X AC switch as an example to illustrate
each section.
Unless otherwise stated, MPUs, LPUs, and switching fabric modules are collectively referred to as "cards"
in this document.
For compatibility between the switches and cards and power modules, see "Appendix B FRUs and
compatibility matrixes."
