Cooling system of the S5560-30S-EI and S5560-54S-EI
switches
The S5560-30S-EI and S5560-54S-EI switches use fixed fan trays and left-to-right aisles for air ventilation.
Ambient air flows in through the air vents in the left side panel, circulates through the chassis and the
power modules, and exhausts through the air vents in the right side panel and air vents of the power
module fan trays, as shown in Figure 81 .
The following figure uses the S5560-30S-EI switch as example.

IMPORTANT:
The chassis and the power modules use separate air aisles. Make sure both aisles are not blocked.
