External Control Preferences Menu

GPI Preferences

Use this menu to select a GPI and a function to cause that function to occur
when the selected GPI is activated. Select OFF in the GPI Input Options box
to disable a GPI.

GPI Preferences menu functions:

ADJUST —

lets you choose each GPI (1 - 4) you will be assigning triggering

parameters.

TRIGGER —

use to set whether the GPI trigger closure is determined by

LEVEL

or

EDGE

.

LEVEL

— triggers the GPI closure when level is set high (in active-high)

or set low (in active-low). When

LEVEL

is selected the pulse must have a

duration of at least 2 fields.

EDGE

— triggers the GPI closure when a rising edge is detected. Only a

rising edge will cause GPI closure.

ACTIVE —

this mode is only available when

LEVEL

has been selected as trigger

parameter. You choose whether the GPI triggers closure when it is

HIGH

or

LOW

.
