Tour of the Assignment List Manager
You use the Assignment List Manager to receive assignments from the
producer, to create additional placeholders for clips, to reassign placeholders to
other editors, and to send completed clips to a Media Server.
The embedded Assignment List Manager runs on the NewsEdit workstation
and integrates with NewsEdit; the NewsEdit toolbar displays part of the
Assignment List Manager so you can see the number of assignments you’ve
received. The standalone ALM runs on any computer in the network.
