4.4 Maintenance and storage

Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition.

never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes can reach
an open flame or spark.
 Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
 To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment and petrol
storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease.
 Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioration.
 Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
5 ASSEMBLY
5.1 Folding handle

1. Fix the lower handlebars into the unit body with a suitable spanner. (Fig. 1A)
2. Lift the two locking levers to release the upper handlebars for folding.
3. Push the locking lever closed to lock the handlebars in the operating position. (Fig. 1B)
4. Adjust the tension by turning the lock nut with a suitable spanner. (Fig.1B)
5. Attach the cable-clamp to the position shown and then attach the cable. (Fig.1C)
