replaced and repaired parts. Any damage or faults
present at the time of purchase must be immediately
reported as soon as the device is unpacked. After the
guarantee period has expired any repairs required
will be chargeable.

Scope of the guarantee
The device has been carefully manufactured in
accordance with strict quality guidelines and has
been thoroughly examined prior to delivery.
The guarantee applies to material and manufacturing
defects. This guarantee does not extend to product
parts that are subject to normal wear and tear
and can therefore be considered as wearing parts
or for damage to fragile parts such as switches,
rechargeable batteries or parts made from glass.
The guarantee is void if the product has been
damaged, has not been used properly or has not been
properly maintained. For the product to be considered
to have been used properly all of the instructions
contained within the operating instructions must
have been observed. Any applications or handling
that the operating instructions advise against or warn
about must certainly be avoided.
The product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial use. The guarantee is void in
the event of misuse or improper handling, the use
of force and in the event of intervention by service
centres that are not authorised by us.

Processing of warranty claims
In order to guarantee the rapid processing of your
issue please adhere to the following instructions:
• Please have the sales receipt and the article

number (e.g. IAN 12345) available as proof
of purchase, for all enquiries.

• Please refer to the type plate, engraving, the

cover page of your operating instructions
(bottom left) or the adhesive label on the rear or
underside of your device, for the article number.

• In the event of a functional fault or defect

please contact the service department below by
telephone or email in the first instance. You will
then receive further details on how to proceed
with your complaint.

After consultation with our customer service
personnel you can send a product reported as
defective in to the service address provided free of
charge along with the sales receipt (till slip) and the
details of where the fault lies and when it occurred.

In order to avoid acceptance problems and additional
costs please ensure that you use only the address
provided to you or consult with your sales centre.
Ensure that the shipping is not implemented

“freight-collect” via bulk goods shipping,

express shipping or using any other special

cargo service. Please send in the device along with

all accessory parts included in the sale and ensure
that it is appropriately and securely packaged.

Repair service

You can have repairs carried out, outside the
guarantee, by our service department, subject
to charge. They will be happy to prepare a cost
estimate for you. We can only deal with devices
that have been sent in appropriately packaged
and shipped to us postage-paid. Attention:
Please send you device cleaned and with
details on the defect to our service department.
Packages shipped “freight-collect” via bulk

goods shipping, express shipping or using

any other special cargo service will not

be accepted. We will dispose of the defective
device you send in free of charge.
