Getting Started

Selecting a Site

You can attach the light to a wall or ceiling.
Using the stand, you can also use the light
in an upright position. When choosing the
site where the light is to be installed, bear in
mind the following:
 Ensure that the mains plug is

disconnected from the socket outlet in
case the light has been switched on
before.

There should be no flammable material
near the installation location (e.g.
curtains, streamers or similar).

 There should be an available socket

outlet near the installation location. The
socket outlet must be easily accessible
so that the mains cable of the light can
be pulled out immediately in a
dangerous situation.

 Ensure that the surface that the light is

to be attached to is stable. If the lamp
tips over or falls new dangers may
arise.

Attaching the mounting clips

We recommend using the enclosed screws
and rawlplugs for the installation. If you
wish to attach the light to a plasterboard
wall, you will need to use specially
designed cavity fixing rawlplugs. If you are
unsure as to which fixings will be sufficient,
consult a specialist.

 Drill two holes using a 6mm drill bit.

The holes must be 110cm apart from
each other.

 Insert the rawlplugs (3) into the drilled

holes.

 Insert the screws (2) through the holes

in the assembly clips (1) and screw
them firmly into the rawlplugs.

 Rotate the mounting clips so that the

openings are positioned in the same
direction.

 Carefully place the light on to the clips

until the housing is surrounded.

Take care as the light will become

warm when it is in use.

If you wish to remove the light from

the clips (e.g. in order to clean it)
ensure that the clips are still stable. In
any case retighten the screws.

Installing with the Stand

 Lay the upper section (5) of the stand

crossways over the lower section (6) of
the stand. Make sure that the upper
section of the stand has a higher
shape than the lower section. The
upper and lower sections should not
be assembled the other way round.
The holes in the base sections must
coincide with one another.
