Using the operating instructions

Read all the instructions in this manual carefully before assembling, mounting or switching on the light and follow

them without exception. Observing all of the guidelines guarantees safe operation and manufacturer's warranty

where applicable.

Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

Remember to pass these instructions on to new owners of the lights.

Important safety information

Intended use

This lamp is designed for use in private households and is not suitable for commercial purposes. The lamp can be mounted on

normally inflammable surfaces. The lamp must not be used in rooms where risk of explosion is present. The lamp must not be

installed on a conductive surface!

This lamp is designed for indoor use only and suitable for dry, closed rooms.

You should not use the lamp in any way other than that previously described nor make adjustments to the light as this can cause

damage. Mortal danger, injury and substantial material damage, as well as technical malfunction (such as short circuit, fire, electric

shock etc.) may occur.

Electrical danger

Electrical current is dangerous! Damage to the lamp, incorrect assembly or use and alterations to the lamp

(exchanging individual components) can damage the device and domestic installation resulting in possible electric

shock and mortal danger for the user.

Do not switch on the lamp if the bulb, connecting cable or adapter are visibly damaged.

Humidity danger

To avoid the risk of electric shock, the lamp must not come into contact with moisture. For this reason, do not use

the lamp in a bathroom or other damp locations.

The lamp must not be mounted onto a surface that is moist or conductive.

Heat danger

Warning: the lamp head / bulb will become hot!

Never hang objects over the lamp. Danger of short-circuiting and fire!

The lamp head / bulb will become hot during use. Let the lamp head / bulb cool down before cleaning or adjusting / changing the

bulb.

Danger to children and people with limited capability of using the devices.

Children and people with limited capability do not recognise the dangers associated with using electrical devices. Keep away from

children and people with limited capability.

Keep packaging and wrapping away from children and people with limited capability. Danger of suffocation!
