Operation
Note: The articulated arm 3a , 3b and the lamp
head 1 can be adjusted as shown in Fig. B.
Note: Adjust the articulated arm 3a , 3b and the
lamp head 1 as shown in Fig. B. The maximum
adjustment angles are signalled by resistances. Do
not move the articulated arm

head 1 beyond these points. Otherwise damage
to the product may occur.
j Always ensure that there is at least 0.5 m clear
distance between the lamp and other items of
furniture or furnishings.
j Insert the mains plug 5 into the socket.
j Move the articulated arms 3a , 3b in the
desired direction. use the locking knobs 2 , 4
to fix the position.

j Press the On / Off switch 6 to turn the desk
lamp on or off.

Replacing a bulb
CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE
FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK! Pull the
mains plug
5 out of the socket.
J Allow the bulb 10 to cool down completely.
j Rotate the defective bulb 10 out of the fitting.
j use a clean, fluff-free cloth when you are
replacing a bulb.
j Now screw the new bulb carefully into the
socket. Check that it is correctly seated.
Q Cleaning and care

SHOCK! For electrical safety reasons,
never clean the light with water or other
fluids or immerse it in water.
J Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like
as they could damage the product.
j use a dry, fluff-free cloth for cleaning.
Q Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
under no circumstances should the
device / article and its bulbs be disposed
of with normal household rubbish.
The device / article and its bulbs should be dispo-
sed of at an officially approved disposal centre or
at your local communal disposal facility.
Observe the applicable regulations. If you are
uncertain of what to do please contact your local
authority’s refuse disposal department.
