Software installation issues

Make sure your computer is running one of these operating systems: Windows 98, 2000,
NT 4.0, Me, or XP. If you are using a Macintosh, it must be running Mac OS 8.6 or later.

z

Make sure the computer meets at least the minimum system requirements listed here.

Minimum

Windows 98: Pentium

90 MHz, 16 MB RAM, 60 MB hard disk space

Windows NT 4.0: Pentium 100 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 60 MB hard disk space
Windows Me: Pentium 150 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 60 MB hard disk space
Windows 2000: Pentium 300 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 60 MB hard disk space
Windows XP, 32 bit: Pentium 233 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 60 MB hard disk space
Mac OS 8.6 or later: 32 MB RAM
To view the CHM file (Windows), you must be running Internet Explorer 4.0 or later.

Windows 98, Windows Me: Pentium 266 MHz, 32 MB RAM, 100 MB hard disk space
Windows NT 4.0: Pentium 266 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 100 MB hard disk space
Windows 2000: Pentium 300 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 100 MB hard disk space
Windows XP, 32 bit: Pentium 300 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 100 MB hard disk space
Mac OS 8.6 or later: 100 MB RAM
To view the CHM file (Windows), you must be running Internet Explorer 4.0 or later.

Before installing software on a Windows computer, make sure that all other programs in
the Task Manager are closed.

If the computer does not recognize the path that you type to the CD, make sure you are
specifying the correct drive letter on the computer.

z

If the computer cannot recognize the CD in the CD drive, inspect the CD for damage. You
can download the printer driver from
