UTILISATION
Démonter l'outil pour l'affûtage et vérifier qu'il n'est ni fendu ni voilé ou tordu.
Si tel était le cas, remplacer l'outil par un neuf.
Les disques à trois ou quatre dents sont utilisables sur leurs deux faces.
Lorsque l'une d'entre elles est usée, il faut retourner l'outil pour utiliser les tranchants de l'autre face.
Seules les parties biseautées des dents sont à affûter.
Il est important de leur conserver un profil régulier et sans amorce de rupture.
Toutes les dents doivent être affûtées de la même manière.
NOTE : Si la machine vibre anormalement après un affûtage, la lame est déséquilibrée. Faire appel
à votre revendeur agréé Honda pour la vérifier.
PRÉCAUTION:
• Remplacer le disque lorsqu'il a atteint la limite d'usure indiquée sur les croquis ci-dessous.

OPERATION
Remove the cutting attachment for sharpening and check that it is not cracked, out of true or bent.
If it is, replace it with a new one.
Both sides of 3-tooth and 4-tooth blades can be used.
When one side is worn, the cutting attachment should be turned over to use the cutting edges on the
other side.
Only the bevelled edges of the teeth are to be sharpened.
It is important to keep their profile regular and to avoid incipient fractures.
All the teeth must be sharpened in the same way.
NOTE: If the machine vibrates abnormally after sharpening, this indicates that the blade is
unbalanced. In this case, contact your authorized dealer Honda to have it checked.

• Replace the blade when the wear limit shown in the illustrations below has been reached.
