Placing the System in the Valet Mode
(Valet Mode cannot be used in the
Manual Arming Mode)
• When the security system is placed in the valet mode, it is temporarily
placed on hold. When in the valet mode, the system cannot be armed,
but panic mode is still functional. This is a convenient feature if the car
is to be washed, serviced, or valet parked.
• Before removing the ignition key, the door opening or closing is not
related to set valet mode.
Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
Press the UNLOCK button on the remote control transmitter three times.
The Status LED flashes once, indicating that the system is in the Valet mode.
