Use

A and V to choose between the following options:

Choose this

For this type of speaker

Meridian

A Meridian DSP Loudspeaker such as

the DSP5000, DSP5000C, DSP6000,

or DSP6000C connected to the

appropriate digital output.

Digital

A digital signal for feeding a DAC

directly from the appropriate digital

output.

Analogue

A power amplifier or active speaker

connected to the appropriate analogue

output.

To set the output delay

Press

> or < until you see a

display such as:

1 Delay +0.0

Using the diagram you completed at the start of this section,

calculate the correct delay as follows:

For measurements in inches:

For measurements in cm:

where distance is the distance to the speaker you are setting up,

and furthest is the distance to the furthest speaker.

For example, if the main left speaker is 120" (300cm) from the

listening position, and the furthest speaker is 180" (450cm)

away, set the delay for the main left speaker to +5.0.

Note that when you are setting up the furthest speaker its delay

should work out to be zero.

Repeat this for each of the speakers in your layout.
