6. position the blade on the wheels so the tooth

gullet is approximately

the wheel as illustrated in

figure 21.

5. Carefully fit the blade over each wheel,

and position it between the blade guides
as shown in

figure 20. Make sure the

teeth point toward the right-hand side of the
machine, as you are facing the front.

8. turn the wheels clockwise by hand.

—if the blade remains centered, does not

touch any guides, and the support bearing
is approximately 0.016" behind the back of
the blade, continue on to Connecting to the
Power Source.

—if the bottom of the blade gullets do not

remain centered on the wheels, then turn
to Tracking on

page 40 for adjustment

instructions.

—if the blade rubs on the blade guides, turn

to Adjusting the Blade Guides on

page 42

for adjustment instructions.

—if the support bearing turns when the blade

is rotated, go to Adjusting the Support
Wheel
on

page 43 for adjustment instruc-

tions.

7. hand tighten the handle until the set plate

comes in contact with the sleeve shown in
