9 Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties to display the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
window.
10 On the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window, verify that the settings are correct, as shown.
11 Click OK to close the TCP/IP Properties window.
12 Click OK to close the Local Area Connection Properties window.
When you complete the TCP/IP configuration, go to “Verifying the IP Address in Windows 2000 or Windows XP”
on page 30.

Verifying the IP Address in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me
To check the IP address:
1 On the Windows Desktop, click Start.
2 Select Run. The Run window is displayed.
