Forward-Facing Use

Using this child restraint in any vehicle
seat where the lap or LATCH belts
cannot be tightened securely and
properly or where it can be loosened
by pulling on it can result in serious
injury or death.

Check vehicle owner’s manual for
more information about airbag/child
restraint use.

“Choosing Restraint
and Position”
section to make
sure your child is at
the proper weight
and height to face
forward.

Forward-Facing Installation

To move the
recline foot to the
forward-facing
position, lay
restraint on it’s
side.

After deciding whether to use your
Vehicle Belts or LATCH, be sure to read
the warnings below as they pertain to
both systems.

The recline foot

MUST

be in the forward-

facing position.

Unlock the recline
foot by turning
the knob 1/4
turn.

Rotate the recline
foot to the back
of the restraint
and lock into
place.
