Place the child’s
bottom and back
flat against the child
restraint. This will
increase comfort
and allow the
harness to properly
tighten.
Rear-Facing Position:
Harness slot must
be
even with or
just below the
shoulders.
If the bottom
harness slots are
above the child’s shoulders, do not use
this child restraint. Use an infant child
restraint instead.
Forward-Facing Position: Harness slots
must be
even with or just above the
shoulders.
If the top harness slots are below the
child’s shoulders,
do not use this child
restraint. Use a belt-positioning booster
instead.

Determine which
set of harness slots
works best for your
child. Adjust if
needed.

Loosen harness by
pushing down on
the harness release
lever while pulling
out on the harness.
You MUST make these adjustments with your
child before you install the child restraint in
the vehicle.
Make sure LATCH
belt packaging is
pulled free of child
restraint shell.

Press on harness
retainer release
button and pull
apart.
Press red button
on buckle to
release the buckle
plates. Hook
harnesses on the
harness strap
holders on the
sides of child
restraint.
