Installation Instructions
The basic procedure for installation of the family of MVME712 modules and
the LCP2 adapter is as follows:
1.
Turn all equipment power OFF and disconnect the power cable from the
AC power source.

Connecting modules while the power is applied may result
in damage to components on the module.

WARNING
Dangerous voltages, capable of causing death, are present in
this equipment. Use extreme caution when handling,
testing, and adjusting.
2.
Remove the chassis cover as instructed in the equipment user's manual.
3.
Remove the Þller panel(s) from the appropriate card slot(s) at the rear of
the chassis (if the chassis has a rear card cage). Other modules in the unit
may have to be moved to allow space for the cables connected to the LCP2
adapter and the MVME712x family module.
4.
