Your phone
won’t unlock.

Have you inserted a new SIM card? Enter
the new PIN. See “SIM PIN” on
page

140.

Do you have a replacement phone? Enter
the default phone unlock code—1234.

Did you forget the unlock code? Press the
Menu key

M

and enter the correct

Security code to unlock the phone.

Your PIN is
blocked.

Enter the PIN unblocking code supplied
with your SIM card. See “SIM PIN”
page

Your PIN2 is
blocked

Enter the PIN2 unblocking code supplied
with your SIM card. See “SIM PIN2”
page

143.

Your SIM card
won’t work.

Is the card inserted the right way round?
See “SIM Card Insertion/ Removal” on
page

31.

Is the gold chip visibly damaged or
scratched? Return the card to your
Service Provider.

Check the SIM contacts. If they are dirty,
clean them with an antistatic cloth.

You can’t cancel
Call Forwarding
or Call Barring.

Wait until you are in an area with good
network coverage and try again.
