The AA-V80U AC Power Adapter/Charger should
be used with:
AC 120 V`, 60 Hz in the USA and Canada,
AC 110 – 240 V`, 50/60 Hz in other countries.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an
equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the
product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user to the presence of important
operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in
the literature accompanying the appliance.
Warning on lithium cell battery (for remote
control unit)
The battery used in this device may present a fire or
chemical burn hazard if mistreated. Do not
recharge, disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F) or
incinerate.
Replace battery with Maxell, Panasonic (Matsushita
Electronic), Sanyo or Sony CR2025; use of another
battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.
Ⅲ Dispose of used battery properly.
Ⅲ Keep away from children.
Ⅲ Do not disassemble and do not dispose of in fire.
NOTES:
● The rating plate (serial number plate) and safety
caution are on the bottom and/or the back of the
main unit.
● The rating plate (serial number plate) of the AC
Power Adapter/Charger is on its bottom.

This camcorder is designed to be used with NTSC-
type color television signals. It cannot be used for
playback with a television of a different standard.
However, live recording and LCD monitor/
viewfinder playback are possible anywhere. Use
the BN-V814U battery pack and, to recharge it, the
provided multi-voltage AC Power Adapter/Charger
AA-V80U. (An appropriate conversion adapter
may be necessary to accommodate different
designs of AC outlets in different countries.)
IMPORTANT:
Ⅲ Never use any AC Power Adapter/Battery
Charger other than the one provided with this
camcorder.
Ⅲ If you lose the provided AC Power Adapter/
Battery Charger or if it malfunctions, please
consult your nearest JVC service dealer.
