Editing program category
When you want to change the program category, follow
the procedure below by using the Remote.

Load a cassette
Insert a tape on which there is a program you want
to edit.

Access Video Navigation screen
Press [NAVI].

Select program
Press [FG] to select the program you want to edit,
then press [OK].

Access edit screen
Press [D E] to move the arrow to “EDIT”, then
press [OK].

Access category screen

Select category

Return to normal screen
Press [NAVI].

Deleting tape information
When you want to delete the entire tape information
(information for all recorded programs on the tape),
follow the procedure below by using the Remote.
• Tape information for the Video Navigation function is
deleted, but the recorded programs will not be erased.

Follow steps 1 to 3 on page 57, then go
to the following steps

Select tape number
• “*” is displayed beside the tape number of the
loaded cassette.
• The cassette mark is displayed on the left of the
tape title. The items without the cassette marks
are the program titles included in the tape.
• To go to another page of the lists, press [<] or [>].

Press [NAVI].
Press [FGD E] to
move the arrow to
“EDIT CATEGORY”,
then press [OK].
Press [FGD E] to
select the category you
want, then press [OK].

you want to edit the
title, then press [OK].
Press [D E] to move
the arrow to “DELETE”,
then press [OK].
Press [D E] to move
the highlight bar to
“YES”, then press [OK].
