To make your best album later

A newly created album has only one track. You can add
other tracks into this album later using the MOVE function
(see page 63).

Erasing an Album—ERASE

You can erase an album one by one.
When an album is erased, the subsequent albums are
renumbered automatically.

On the remote control ONLY:
If the HDD includes many albums, select the album
number using Search Mode (see page 38) before
performing the procedure below.

Press

TITLE/EDIT repeatedly until “ALBUM EDIT?”

appears in the main display, then press

SET.

• The source changes to “HDD” automatically if

another source has been selected.

SELECT

¢ or SELECT 4 to select

“ERASE?,” then press

SET.

Press

ALBUM + or ALBUM – to select an album to

erase, then press

SET.

The confirmation screen appears in the main display.

ENTER.

“PLEASE WAIT” then “HDD WRITING” appears and
the HDD lamp flashes in red while the editing you have
made is being stored in the HDD.
• It takes a long time if the selected album has many

tracks.

• If you have performed the above procedure during

play, HDD playback stops.

¢ or SELECT 4 to select “MAKE

ALBUM?,” then press

SET.

Select a track you want to copy to a new album.
1) Press

ALBUM + or ALBUM – to select the album.

2) Press

SELECT

¢ or SELECT 4 to select the

track.
• You can select the track directly using the number

buttons. In this case, the selected track starts
playback repeatedly.

SET.

The library selection screen appears.

LIBRARY to select a library (“Library 1”—

“Library 10”) you want to move the selected album
to, then press

SET.

The confirmation screen appears in the main display.

ENTER.

“HDD WRITING” appears and the HDD lamp flashes
in red while the editing you have made is being stored
in the HDD.

A new album is created (the track selected in step 3
becomes the first track in the new album). Album
number is automatically assigned to the newly created
album (the youngest unused number will be selected).

• If you have performed the above procedure during

play, HDD playback stops.

The currently selected track
number of the current album
flashes.

The currently selected library flashes.

The currently selected
album number flashes.

Ex. When selecting Album 12, then Track 3

Ex. When selecting “Library 10”
