DVR Management Menu

(Required user access level: ID4)

<MONITOR SET>

SEQUENCE (Default: 1)

Specify the interval at which to switch from
one camera to another in Sequential
Switching mode.

Valid range: 1 to 30 (seconds)

<ALARM MONITOR SET>

DISPLAY (default: QUAD)

Specify which layout to use when an alarm
has occurred.

Available options:
FULL:

Uses the single-view layout to display the
video from the channel where the alarm
occurred.

QUAD:

Uses the four-view layout to display the
video from all the four channels,
including the channel where the alarm
occurred.

ALARM PRIORITY
(default: LAST)

When you select FULL from DISPLAY (

),

the DVR’s user interface can display only
channel at a time but, during an alarm
recording, another alarm may occur in a
different channel. To handle such
situations, you can select one of the
following options.
LAST:

Displays the most recent alarm video
instead of the view that is being
recorded.

FIRST:

Continues to display the video that is
being recorded.

SWITCH:

Switches the alarm video streams at
intervals of one second.

<MASK SET>

MASK SET (default: OFF)

When it is critical to ensure the privacy and
confidentiality of the video from a particular
channel, you can mask that channel to
prevent the video from viewed on the
monitoring and playback screens.

Available options:

ON: The system masks the video and

sound, and a black placeholder
labeled as “MASK” appears.

OFF: The video is displayed as usual.

When you have finished configuring the
settings on this tab, click

and

make sure that the tab index text turns
yellow.

When you have finished your
configuration task across all the tabs,
finally click

. Configuration

information is uploaded to the DVR, and
the tab index text returns from yellow to
black. (For more information on the
command buttons, see P103.)
