When you press DISPLAY on the remote, the
remaining power of the battery is indicated
on the screen as shown below (

 page 37).

As the black indicator section decreases, the
remaining power is depleted further.

Notes

• The display shows the approximate battery power

remaining. One section does not always indicate
one-fourth of the battery power.

• Depending on the operating conditions, the display

may increase or decrease relative to the actual
power remaining.

• The remaining battery indicator appears only when

the player is operated on the battery.

• The remaining battery indicator does not appear,

while playing JPEG fi les (

 page 29), and

viewing external input signals (

 page 49).
