Setting the Languages
( LANGUAGE SETUP)
Items Options
OSD Select the language for the
on-screen display from 11
different languages
(
 page 21).
MENU Select the language
prioritized for the disc
menu.
AUDIO Select the audio language
prioritized from the
multiple audio languages
recorded on the disc.
SUBTITLE Select the subtitle
language prioritized
from the multiple subtitle
languages recorded on
the disc. To turn off the
subtitle, select [OFF].
 Tip
When you select [OTHERS] in [MENU],
[AUDIO], or [SUBTITLE], input the language code
corresponding to the desired language (Language
Code List
 page 56). The selected 4-digit
language code will be displayed from the next time.
Notes
• You cannot set [MENU], [AUDIO], and
[SUBTITLE] during playback.
• Another language may be selected irrespective of
your setting, depending on the DVDs.
• Selecting languages may be prohibited even if
there are multiple audio languages are recorded,
depending on the DVDs.
