Chapter 5: Email & Messaging
Use Messaging to send and receive text and multimedia messages. Use Email to
send and receive email messages using your internet email accounts.
To open the Phone screen, do any of the following:

Tap .

Tap
>
Messaging.
5.1 Text Message
A text message can only contain letters, numbers, and symbols.
NOTE: Availability of the SIM card icons depend on the SIM card(s) installed on the
device.
Create and Send Text Messages
The device offers several ways to create and send new text messages.
From Messaging screen
1. Tap
or tap
> Messaging.
2. Tap New message.
3. In the To field, enter the recipient’s phone number.
4. Tap Type to compose then type your message.
5. Tap
or
to send your message.
NOTE: If you close Messaging before sending your message, the unsent message
will be automatically saved as a draft.
Tap to send the
message using the
SIM1 card network.
Tap to send the
message using the
SIM2 card network.
