Basic Editing (Title List)
Renaming(Labeling) a Title
Follow these instructions to rename a title list entry,
i.e., to edit the name of a recorded program.
Using the TITLE LIST button
1 Press the RECORDER button on the front panel or R
button on the remote control.
2 With the unit in Stop mode/Playback mode, press the
TITLE LIST button.
The Title List screen is displayed.
Using the MENU button.
• With the unit in Stop mode/Playback mode, press
the MENU button.
• Press the …† buttons to select Title,
then press the ENTER or √ button.
3 Press the …† buttons to select an entry you want to
rename from the Title List, then press the ANYKEY
button.
4 Press the …† buttons to select Rename, then press
the ENTER or √ button.
The Rename screen is displayed.
5 Select the desired characters using the …† œ √
buttons, press the ENTER button to select the
character.
• Back Space: Deletes and moves the cursor
backwards by one position.
• Space: Enters a blank and moves the cursor one
forward (to the right).
• Delete: Deletes the character at the cursor position.
• Clear: Deletes all the character inputs.
• Save: Registers the character inputs.
6 Press the …† œ √ buttons to select Save, and then
press the ENTER button.
The changed title name is displayed.
