• The S-AIR product is turned off. Make sure

the AC power cord (mains lead) is connected
and turn on the S-AIR product.

No sound is heard from the S-AIR product.

• If you use another S-AIR main unit, place it

more than 8 m away from the system.

• Confirm the ID of the subwoofer and the

S-AIR product (page 67).

• Confirm the pairing setting (page 68).
• Install the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub

unit closer together.

• Avoid use of equipment that generates

electromagnetic energy, such as a
microwave oven.

• Install the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub

unit away from other wireless products.

• Stop using another wireless product.
• Change the “RF CHANGE” setting

(page 71).

• Change the ID settings of the S-AIR main

unit and S-AIR sub unit.

• Turn off the system and S-AIR product, then

turn them on.

There is noise or the sound skips.

• If you use another S-AIR main unit, place it

more than 8 m away from the system.

• Install the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub

unit closer together.

• Avoid use of equipment that generates

electromagnetic energy, such as a
microwave oven.

• Install the S-AIR main unit and S-AIR sub

unit away from other wireless products.

• Stop using another wireless product.
• Change the “RF CHANGE” setting

(page 71).

• Change the ID settings of the S-AIR main

unit and S-AIR sub unit.

Other

The remote does not function.

• Check that the subwoofer and the remote

commander receiver are connected correctly
and securely.

• Point the remote at the remote sensor (

) on

the remote commander receiver.

• Remove any obstacles in the path between

the remote and the remote commander
receiver.

• Replace both batteries in the remote with

new ones, if they are weak.

• Press one of the input buttons (TV, BD,

DVD, SAT, TUNER/BAND, or DMPORT)
on the remote to select the component you
want to operate (page 50).

The volume turns down when the output
method changes from the TV speaker to the
system speaker.

• The Volume Limit function is working. For

details, see “Using the Volume Limit
function” (page 44)
.

If the system still does not
operate properly after performing
the above measures, reset the
system as follows:

Use buttons on the subwoofer for the operation.

Press ?/1 to turn on the power.

Press INPUT SELECTOR, VOLUME –,
?/1 at the same time.

“COLD RESET” appears and the system is
reset. AMP menu, sound field, etc., return to
the default settings.
