The remote does not function.
mRemove any obstacles between the
remote and the player.
mUse the remote near the player.
mPoint the remote at the remote
sensor g on the player.
mReplace all the batteries in the
remote with new ones if they are
weak.
mMake sure you are using the
supplied remote.
Picture noise appears when the
player is connected to the TV via the
VCR.
mDo not connect the player to the
VCR. Connect the player directly to
the TV (page 11).
Picture noise appears when you
record and play back the picture of a
DVD VIDEO on a VCR.

protection function developed by
Macrovision. Copy protection
signals are recorded on some DVD
VIDEOs. When you play and record
the pictures of these discs on a VCR,
picture noise appears.
