Recording is possible for HDD/DVD-RW/-R
discs only.
If a programme is copy protected, it
cannot be recorded.

I pressed the REC button but there is no response.

checkpoints below before contacting a Samsung
authorised service centre.

Recording
The HDD & DVD RECORDER
requires some time to initialize and the
input will be displayed for approx. 10
seconds after it is turned on.
But If Quick recording function is set
to on, the HDD & DVD RECORDER
will power on quickly, which enables
you to immediately record a desired
channel. (see page 34)

securely plugged into the power outlet.
Did you set the HDD & DVD
RECORDER channel settings correctly?
Check the free space on your
HDD/DVD-RW/-R discs.
