Use "iwconfig" to manipulate wireless extensions.
essid
Set the nework name of the desired network to connect to (with access point) or
the name of your private ad-hoc network.
mode
Set the operating mode to "Ad-Hoc"or" Managed"(infrastructure mode).
In managed mode,the card will try to connected to an Access Point,to get access
to the infrastructure. In Ad-Hoc mdoe,the card doesn't require an Access Point
and can communicate directly with its peers.
channel
Channel for ad-hoc networkings.(1~14).
rts
Set the medium reservation threshold(RTS/CTS frame length), which affets the
number of the octes in a message or fragment above which a RTS/CTS handshake is
performed.
frag
Set the number of bytes used for the fragmentation boundary for direced messages.
rate
Set the rate used for transmission(but not reception).
enc
Set the encryption key.
(40 bit WEP -> XXXX-XXXX-XX. 104(128) bit WEP -> XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XX).
power
Set the power saving mode.(on/off)
