— Preset Tuning

Preset radio stations in the tuner’s memory first
(see “Presetting radio stations” on page 14).

Tips

• To improve broadcast reception, adjust the supplied

antennas, or connect a commercially available
external antenna.

• When an FM stereo program has static noise, press

STEREO/MONO repeatedly until “MONO”
appears. There will be no stereo effect, but the
reception will improve.

Turn off the radio

Press ?/1.

Change the display Press DISPLAY repeatedly.

The display changes cyclically as
follows:

next page) or the RDS broadcast is received (see

Listening to non-preset radio
stations

• Press m or M in step 2. “MANUAL”

appears. Then press m or M to tune in
the desired station (

Manual Tuning

).

• Press and hold m or M until “AUTO”

appears in step 2. The frequency indication
changes and the scanning stops when the
system tunes in a station (

Automatic

Tuning

).

To cancel Automatic Tuning

Press m or M.
