Saving the messages on your computer’s hard disk

You can save the messages in the “Memory Stick“ on your computer's
hard disk. You can save them as the following file formats.
• MSV (Memory Stick Voice LPEC) file
• MSV (Memory Stick Voice ADPCM) file
• DVF (Digital Voice) file
• WAV file (8-/16-bit)

Viewing, playing, or editing the messages on your
computer

In the “Memory Stick Voice Editor” window, you can do the following:
• You can display the list of messages contained in the Memory Stick and

in your computer’s hard disk.

• The message can be played back through computer‘s speakers. In

addition to the normal playback, you can also enjoy various ways of
playback.

• You can edit messages: renaming messages or folders, changing the

priority or alarm settings, dividing/combining messages, or sending a
voice e-mail. You can also convert the file format of a PC message.

Transferring messages back to the “Memory Stick“ for
playing back with the IC recorder

The messages saved in your computer or sound files (MSV, DVF, WAV, or
MP3 files) received with an e-mail message can be added to the “Memory
Stick“ as MSV files, which can be played back on the IC recorder.
