Erasing All Messages in a Folder

You can erase all recorded messages in a folder, but the folder itself will not be
deleted. If you want to delete a folder, see page 38.

Select the folder containing the messages you
want to erase.
For more information see Step 1 of
“Recording Messages“ (page 16).

While pressing xSTOP, press ERASE for more
than 1 second.
“ERASE ALL?” will flash for 10 seconds.

While the display is flashing, press ERASE.

To cancel erasing

Press xSTOP before step 3.
Notes

• While “ERASE ALL“ is displayed in the display

window or the OPR indicator flashes in orange, do not
remove the “Memory Stick“, batteries, or the AC
adaptor. This may damage the data.

• An error message will appear in the display window

when you cannot erase all messages in a folder. For
more information, see “Troubleshooting“ (page 81).
