If you selected CLIP, the status of the current clip
appears.

When playback or search reaches a new clip, the
display changes to the status of the new clip.

To return to the next highest level
Press the MENU button.

To clear the menu from the screen
Press the MENU button twice.

To delete the most recent recorded clip

If the clip is locked, it cannot be deleted.

Proceed as follows.

Display the disc menu (see page 79).

Press the

M/MARK1 button or the m/MARK2 button

to select DELETE.

Press the

,/OUT button.

The name of the clip to be deleted appears.

Press the SET button.

The clip is deleted, and the number of the deleted clip
appears.

To return to the next highest level without deleting
the clip

Press the MENU button.

To clear the menu from the screen
Press the MENU button twice.

To delete all clips

Carrying out the following procedure deletes all clips that
are not locked.

Proceed as follows.

Display the disc menu (see page 79).

Press the

M/MARK1 button or the m/MARK2 button

to select DELETE.

Press the

,/OUT button.

Select ALL CLIP, then press the

,/OUT button.

When the message “ALL DELETE OK?” appears,
press the SET button.

All of the clips on the disc are deleted.

To return to the next highest level without deleting
the clips
Press the RESET button.

To clear the menu from the screen
Press the MENU button.

To format a disc

See “Formatting a Disc” (page 38) in Chapter 3.
